Coffee lovers rejoice! The Double Shot Coffee Company opened in December 2009 with the aim of creating an authentic and cosmopolitan coffee shop experience in the heart of Covent Garden's Opera Quarter. The man behind it, Alex Mello, is originally from Brazil and from a coffee growing family, so he knows his beans.
Double Shot is the realisation of his dream to bring to London a taste of the Brazilian coffee culture with great coffee and hospitality in the form of his own perfect shop. Double Shot Coffee Company serves everything to cater for your caffeine cravings, their Union coffee uses 100% Arabica beans, being roasted and freshly packaged in East London. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff will advise you on a selection of great coffees, teas, beverages and other combinations for you to savour.
On top of this, Double Shot offer freshly prepared, hand made sandwiches daily on the premises together with freshly baked pastries, seasonal soups and homemade cakes and to top it off, Afternoon cakes that include: Clotted Cream, Strawberry Jam and Homemade Scones! YUM!
